Better With Water
In Cavite, Philippines, where access to clean drinking water is often a daily challenge, a powerful collaboration is changing lives. Through a joint effort by Stop Hunger, Pluxee, and the local association Better with Water, 90 families — nearly 400 individuals — now have reliable access to safe, drinkable water. But this initiative goes far beyond infrastructure; it’s about building confidence, capability, and community.
At the heart of the project is the empowerment of 160 individuals, including 138 women, who received training in leadership, public speaking, project management, and financial literacy. With this knowledge, many are stepping into new roles — ready to lead, speak up, and shape the future of their communities. Thanks to the dedication of Pluxee employees who developed and delivered the training, these women are not just participants — they are changemakers.
“This project isn’t just about water,” one community leader shared. “It’s about dignity, opportunity, and the belief that we can lead change.” With every drop of water and every hour of training, this partnership is planting seeds of lasting impact — and the ripple effects are only just beginning.
