Recognizing volunteers' commitment and supporting beneficiaries of local associations
In the United States, France and the UK, as in the 53 countries where volunteers mobilize, many engage directly in actions on the ground. Recognizing them with an award is also an opportunity for Stop Hunger to offer a grant of up to US$ 5,000 to benefit the association of their choice.A Stop Hunger Award is also a contribution to an association supported by a volunteer.

In the United States, for the past 18 years, 128 Stop Hunger volunteers and Sodexo* employees named as "Heroes of Everyday Life®," have been recognized with an award and a grant of US$ 5,000 to benefit the association of their choice. This model has been adopted in Europe, including in France, where 16 Stop Hunger volunteers have been honored over the past five years and received grants of € 3,000 for their associations.
The United Kingdom will soon be following suit.
