Stop Hunger et On Remplit Le Frigo

With the association On Remplit Le Frigo,  we welcomed 150 vulnerable students to the RIE Sodexo in Issy-les-Moulineaux. These young people came to recieve essential food and hygiene products.

Why are we talking about it?

⁃ To alert us to these shocking figures: 54% of young people skip a meal for financial reasons. 7 out of 10 students can't afford to buy meat. 91.7% live on less than €1,000/month and 47% of them live even lower on €400/month (Linkee study “Précarités étudiantes: deux ans après rien n'a changé”).

⁃ To inspire other companies, Sodexo clients and suppliers to follow suit! Yes, the private sector can (and should!) care about societal impact.

It doesn't take much: a venue (a company restaurant at a time when the public is closed), committed volunteers, and a donation to the On remplit le frigo association, which takes care of logistics and student registration! And that's it!

It's like giving a helping hand to young people, the lifeblood of tomorrow, the hope of the world. In return, you'll receive priceless smiles, and you'll have sown the seeds of solidarity that these young people will in turn nurture...
