  • Apr. 01, 2024

This year we celebrated our Stop Hunger Leaders Luna Mishra and Camille Thobois Reymond who are engaging Sodexo's clients and partners in volunteering and co-financing women's empowerment projects. Together, these collaborations increase our societal impact so we can contribute to supporting more communities in food insecurity.

Luna Mishra

Stop Hunger Leader India

Luna Mishra

Since 2021, Luna has been instrumental in strengthening Sodexo's commitment to social responsibility through Stop Hunger. By forging strong relationships with clients (such as Adani Skill Development Centre (SAKSHAM) and Foundation, MSD, …) and communities, she has successfully integrated Stop Hunger initiatives into Sodexo projects.

One notable achievement was her work with the Adani Foundation - Luna helped a group of 600 female farmers market their products by providing training on packaging and creating a platform to sell directly to Sodexo. Additionally, last year, she played a key role in establishing two skill development centers in collaboration with Adani, which provided training and opportunities to over 150 local youth. These initiatives not only empowered the farmers and the local community but also aligned with Sodexo's sustainability goals.

Luna has also been involved in various other projects, including partnering with NGOs to provide educational opportunities and food kits, and organizing community development initiatives. Her efforts have not only increased the visibility of Stop Hunger but have also created a lasting positive impact in the communities Sodexo serves.

Thank you so much for everything you are doing Luna! You are a Stop Hunger Trailblazer!

Camille Thobois Reymond

Stop Hunger Leader UK & I

Camille Thobois Reymond

Camille is a driving force behind Stop Hunger UK and Ireland (UK&I), animating the network of champions and volunteers and defining strategies and priorities. She bridges the gap between Stop Hunger’s activities and associations, facilitating collaboration to empower communities struggling with food insecurity.

Thanks to her efforts, Stop Hunger UK&I has been able to deploy campaigns such as the 2023 "Show your heart, Play your part" campaign to help food banks respond to the cost-of-living crisis and triple the number of volunteers. In 2023, the Foundation supported over 1.8 million beneficiaries in the UK&I and donated over half a million pounds to charities fighting food insecurity and its root causes.

Thanks to Camille and her team, the Foundation is actively partnering with Sodexo and its network of clients and suppliers to expand its impact. One example: Stop Hunger and AstraZeneca have partnered with COFARM FOUNDATION. For three years, Sodexo and AstraZeneca employees have volunteered, leading to further opportunities such as the purchase of organic products from CoFarm's ecological community gardens, and even to the creation of two new gardens, highlighting its positive impact on local communities and employee engagement.

Unlike typical CSR programs, the Foundation operates with a needs-based approach and uses its unique expertise to drive real change. This independent status adds value and transparency, attracting partners from the private and charity sectors.

Thank you, Camille for everything you are doing! You are a truly remarkable Stop Hunger Changemaker!
