Stop Hunger on the Tour de France 2026
Connecting surplus food with communities in need
In total, the operation collected 39 tonnes of food, equivalent to 78,000 meals distributed to people facing food insecurity. Of this total, 26 tonnes came from donations made by Tour de France partner companies, including Aoste, Carlsberg, Danone, Bel and Panzani.

This represents 5 tonnes more than in 2025, thanks to Stop Hunger’s presence on additional legs of the Tour, increased partner donations and the recovery of surplus food during the Tour de France Femmes. The donations benefited 21 Food Banks across France and Spain, as well as more than 40 national and local associations, including organizations supporting people experiencing homelessness and families in need.

From recovery to awareness
Beyond its direct food impact, the initiative also helped raise awareness of both food waste and food insecurity among the public and Tour stakeholders. This success was made possible thanks to the commitment of 14 Stop Hunger volunteers mobilized along the route, together with the teams who coordinated and supported the operation throughout the Tour.
Thank you
A huge thank you to all Stop Hunger Champions, volunteers, local Food Banks, and the teams from Amaury Sport Organisation, Sodexo France and Sodexo Live!, as well as our partner companies Aoste, Carlsberg, Danone, Bel and Panzani, whose support helped make this second Tour de France operation a great success.
