In December, our Stop Hunger volunteers, Kandice Bandula Kalwoda and Bruno Victor Eugene, completed a two-week mission in the village of Matam, Senegal.
Training of Trainers
Their primary objective for this mission was to pilot a new curriculum for “culinary training” using a “Training of Trainers” approach. Kandice and Bruno worked with government officials who will then transfer their knowledge to 16 women on essential skills such as cooking, food safety, nutrition, and hygiene.
